As you're pulling together new music roundups for the spring, put British pop artist [Erin LeCount](https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/soundcloud.com/erinlecount__;!!N96JrnIq8IfO5w!myEBynMfy-dloc_qcko2eAY7uQ43VtDVBAT66UU0QerP4qtRz2JmCuW7gzFYCPloKrQzWNLFaeikjlQT6mWRPebqJKY$) on your radar. Just named SoundCloud's latest [Ascending](https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/press.soundcloud.com/240964-introducing-ascending-soundcloud-s-global-program-to-develop-and-propel-breakthrough-artists__;!!N96JrnIq8IfO5w!myEBynMfy-dloc_qcko2eAY7uQ43VtDVBAT66UU0QerP4qtRz2JmCuW7gzFYCPloKrQzWNLFaeikjlQT6mWR3FW5M6g$) artist, Erin is a true talent - writing, producing, and releasing all her music from her home studio, and building a following on SoundCloud by dropping exclusive songs and enlisting her fan community to share feedback on unfinished demos.

She’s also making history as the first-ever Pop artist selected for SoundCloud’s Ascending program, which has previously spotlighted names like Shaboozey and Laila! With Pop currently the top-searched genre on SoundCloud in both the US and UK, Erin’s moment feels especially significant.

After going viral with her track “[Silver Spoon](https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/soundcloud.com/erinlecount/silver-spoon-demo__;!!N96JrnIq8IfO5w!myEBynMfy-dloc_qcko2eAY7uQ43VtDVBAT66UU0QerP4qtRz2JmCuW7gzFYCPloKrQzWNLFaeikjlQT6mWRqnO9nRw$),” late last year—racking up over 11M views and 2.2K fan creations— and dropping follow-up single "[Marble Arch](https://soundcloud.com/erinlecount/marble-arch-secret-preview?si=f4b8f0ae4dc04f729fd43482fc4d1aef&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing)" in late March, Erin is now ready to drop her new EP, ‘I Am Digital, I Am Divine,’ on April 23. If interested, we are happy to check on her interview availability, and if you’re not already set up, we’d love to offer you a complimentary SoundCloud Go subscription to explore her full catalog.
