4. Independence & Transparency

MusicWire does not accept editorial influence from advertisers, sponsors, or business partners. If a press release involves paid content (e.g., sponsored brand partnership), that context is disclosed within the copy.

5. Conflicts of Interest

Editors must disclose personal or financial ties to an artist, label, or stakeholder before working on a release. If a conflict exists, a separate editor is assigned.

6. Review & Approval

7. Corrections & Updates

If an error surfaces after publication, we correct it promptly and append a “Correction” note with the date and nature of the change. Significant post‑publication updates to release details are time‑stamped.

8. User‑Generated Content

Comments, quotes, or testimonials included in a press release must be authorized by the speaker. MusicWire does not host open comment sections, reducing the risk of unverified claims.
