Atlantic Records Partners With Jorge Rivera-Herrans, Creator of Epic

Atlantic Records proudly announces an exclusive partnership with visionary creator Jorge Rivera-Herrans, the writer, composer, and star behind the viral musical phenomenon EPIC. Launching today, the partnership debuts with the first-ever physical release of the hit musical adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey, headlined by a limited edition 9LP holographic vinyl Mega Box Set, available exclusively through September 14 HERE.

Leading the rollout is a limited edition 9LP Mega Box Set featuring the full EPIC series pressed on holographic vinyl. Additional releases include a 3CD Complete Series Box Set, as well as individual vinyl pressings of the first three sagas, The Troy Saga, The Cyclops Saga, and The Ocean Saga. Fans can also collect a custom vinyl storage box, designed to hold all nine saga LPs as they are released. A musical reimagining of one of the oldest hero’s journeys of all time, EPIC is a genre-defying, sung-through adaptation of The Odyssey, blending pop, world music, orchestral scoring, and increasingly electronic elements as the narrative grows more mythological. Inspired by anime, video games, and animation, the project is divided into nine sagas across two acts (five in Act I, four in Act II), featuring 40 original songs. Rivera-Herrans first started writing EPIC in 2019 and began documenting the creative process on social media in 2021. Since then, he has cultivated a deeply engaged fanbase of over 4 million followers and a global community of artists, animators, and musicians.‍

EPIC has made a powerful commercial and cultural impact across digital platforms. To date, the project has amassed over 1 million album equivalents and more than 3 billion streams globally. Multiple sagas debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Cast Albums” chart, with The Vengeance Saga also landing at #1 on the “Compilation Albums” chart.
