Corners of Sanctuary Just Dropped the Ultimate Naughty & Nice Xmas Anthem!

The holiday season is upon us, and the merry metal sounds of Corners of Sanctuary (COS) are here to kick it off! Continuing their annual Merry Metal Xmas tradition, COS has released an all-new original track, Christmas Fairytale, available now through SODEH Records. This single marks the band’s twelfth holiday release, bringing their signature metal twist to the season.
“It’s that time of year again…a Merry Metal Xmas,” says COS guitarist and founder Mick Michaels. “The holidays are special for us, and we love spreading a little extra holiday cheer with these songs.”
This year’s festivities come with a twist. Alongside the “Christmas Fairytale” single, representing the “nice” side, COS adds a dash of naughty with their cover and music video of Black Sabbath’s classic, Paranoid.
“This year, we wanted to mix things up,” Michaels npe. “O jẹ ọna wa lati gbọdọ awọn ti o dara julọ ati awọn ti o dara ... ṣugbọn fẹ, Santa ti wa ni o wa gbogbo akoko!”
In addition to their holiday release, COS has been hard at work in the studio on their upcoming EP, Forever Metal, set for release on February 9, 2025. They’re also planning re-releases of their first two albums, Breakout (2012) and Harlequin (2013). These new editions will feature re-recordings with the current lineup, and Harlequin will come with a comic book based on its original concept storyline.
To commemorate the tenth anniversary of their 2015 album Metal Machine, COS will release an official biography through March Baby Media and Scream Bloody Books. Additionally, Metal Machine will receive a reissue with updated tracks and brand-new masterings.
