Sammy Sadler's "I Can't Get Close Enough" Music Video Premieres TODAY at 5:30p ET/PT on The Heartland Network

Country singer Samantha Sadler continues to honor the legacy of ’80s and ’90s country with the release of his brand-new music video for “I Can’t Get Close Enough.” The video, filmed by Studio Dunlap, in Dunlap, Tennessee brings the song’s emotion to life through heartfelt storytelling and classic country imagery, offering longtime fans a fresh new way to experience the track.
Originally penned by J.P. Pennington and Sonny LeMaire and first recorded by Exile, “I Can’t Get Close Enough” continues to stand the test of time. Sadler’s rendition not only pays tribute to the timeless original but also showcases his enduring ability to connect with listeners through sincerity and tradition. With the new video release, Sadler continues to prove why his music resonates with those who value the authenticity of real country storytelling and tribute to that timeless sound while featuring a special appearance from Sonny LeMaire, J.P. Pennington, and Les Taylor of Exile appear on this recording courtesy of Clear Water Records.
The music video was premiered digitally by My Kind of Country and will make its television premiere on The Heartland Network’s ‘Country Music Today,’ Tuesday, October 6th at 5:30 PM ET/PT. It will also air on the networks’ livestream at 5:30 PM ET and on the free It’s Real Good TV app, (itsrealgoodtv.com). Sammy Sadler is also featured in Forbes Magazine now
“Country music has been my greatest passion since I was a little boy,” shares Sadler. “I still remember going to the Grand Ole Opry and being in awe of the artists, their stories, and their songs. My journey hasn’t always gone the way I expected, but I’m grateful that God continues to give me the strength to keep sharing my music. Filming the video for ‘I Can’t Get Close Enough’ brought this song to life in such a powerful way—it’s a reminder of how deeply love and faith can connect us. Here’s to the next chapter.”
With a career shaped by determination and raw talent, Sammy Sadler has carved out a story all his own in Nashville. He first gained national attention in 1989 with his charting rendition of Aaron Neville’s “Tell It Like It Is,” followed by “You Made It Easy.” But his momentum was cut short when he was seriously wounded in the same shooting that took the life of Cash Box chart director Kevin Hughes—an incident that became known as the “Murder on Music Row.” After several years away from the spotlight, Sadler returned with ‘Hard On a Heart’ in 2004, earning recognition in Texas and internationally. He continued his comeback with ‘Heart Shaped Like Texas’ in 2009. Sadler is excited to be doing select shows with singer-songwriter Dave Gibson (Tanya Tucker, Alabama, Joe Diffie) on their ‘Hits & History Tour’ with their first show in Nashville, Tennessee, at Chiefs on Broadway later this summer.

It takes a myriad of professionals to turn this wheel we call the music business: radio air personalities, tour managers, record label insiders, specialists in television programming, directors of live events and publicists who provide artists with the exposure needed to keep the wheel in motion. Knowledge is power, and executive/entrepreneur Jeremy Westby is the power behind 2911 Enterprises. Westby is the rare individual whose twenty-five years of experience in the music industry champions each of those arenas—on a multi genre level in all realms. After all, how many people can say they’ve worked side by side with Megadeth, Meat Loaf, Michael W. Smith and Dolly Parton? Westby can.
