MusicWire

Last updated: March 9, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of MusicWire, including the public site, submission workflows, newsroom, account areas, analytics surfaces, payment flows, and related services. By accessing or using MusicWire, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and Acceptance

You may use MusicWire only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and have authority to act on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you use MusicWire on behalf of a company, label, agency, or client, you represent that you have authority to bind that party to these terms.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, keeping credentials secure, and restricting access to your account. You are also responsible for activities that occur through your account or under your credentials.

Services and Submissions

MusicWire provides tools for press release submission, publication, distribution, newsroom hosting, and related promotional or analytics features. By submitting content, you represent that the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, does not violate law or third-party rights, and may be stored, reviewed, displayed, distributed, reformatted, translated, or syndicated as necessary to operate the service.

Review, Publication, and Distribution Discretion

MusicWire may review, reject, delay, suspend, edit for technical formatting, or remove submissions where necessary for policy compliance, legal risk, safety, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation, quality control, payment issues, or operational reasons. Payment does not guarantee publication, timing, or editorial handling beyond the services expressly purchased.

Fees, Billing, and Refunds

Paid services are governed by the pricing, checkout, and package terms shown at the time of purchase. You agree to provide complete and accurate billing information. MusicWire may rely on third-party payment processors and may suspend or delay service where payment is incomplete, disputed, flagged for risk, or otherwise fails to clear. Refunds, credits, or re-runs are handled according to the specific service purchased and the circumstances of the request.

Your Representations and Responsibilities

License to Submitted Materials

To operate the service, you grant MusicWire and its service providers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, distribute, display, adapt for formatting, translate, archive, and otherwise use submitted materials in connection with publication, distribution, analytics, support, and service operations.

Platform Intellectual Property

Except for content you validly submit, MusicWire and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, site design, marks, databases, layouts, copy, software, and related materials. No ownership in MusicWire intellectual property is transferred to you by use of the service.

Prohibited Use

You may not use MusicWire to submit spam, malware, deceptive or unlawful content, infringing materials, or abusive campaigns. You may not interfere with the platform, probe security controls, bypass rate limits, misuse checkout or account systems, or scrape or republish platform content in violation of applicable law or these terms.

Third-Party Services and Links

MusicWire may rely on third-party providers for payment processing, analytics, hosting, communications, media delivery, or distribution. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. MusicWire is not responsible for the availability or policies of third-party services beyond its control.

Disclaimers

MusicWire is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MusicWire disclaims warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and the accuracy or effectiveness of third-party materials or distribution outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MusicWire and its operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm arising from or related to use of the platform or any distribution outcome.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MusicWire, its operators, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your submissions, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Suspension and Termination

MusicWire may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the platform or specific services at any time where necessary for abuse prevention, legal compliance, operational integrity, fraud prevention, nonpayment, or policy enforcement. Termination does not automatically remove content that was validly published or distributed before termination.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws and venue applicable to the MusicWire service relationship, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws require otherwise. You agree to raise concerns promptly and in good faith so disputes can be reviewed before escalation.

Changes to These Terms

MusicWire may update these terms to reflect legal, operational, pricing, product, or policy changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
