F1®THE ALBUM, Atlantic Records’ supercharged and star-studded musical companion to Apple Original Films’ high-octane, action-packed F1® THE MOVIE – starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) – has fast proven to be an unstoppable sensation. Just two weeks after the release of both the album and the critically acclaimed feature film (distributed globally by Warner Bros. Pictures), F1® THE ALBUM made a spectacular U.S. chart debut at #2 on Billboard’s “Soundtracks” as well as #13 on the Billboard 200. The album has amassed over 600 million global streams, accelerating to #2 on both Spotify’s U.S. and Global charts.

To celebrate, today marks the standalone release of F1® THE MOVIE’s electrifying original score - composed by legendary Academy Award® winner Hans Zimmer alongside co-composer Steve Mazzaro. Described by The Hollywood Reporter as an "adrenalized score” that “ups the ante, adding tension to already nail-biting moments,” the F1® THE MOVIE (ORIGINAL SCORE) is available now HERE with a special edition vinyl available for pre-order now HERE. Anchored in a memorable theme that resonates through the film in both orchestral and electronic forms, the F1® THE MOVIE score blends man and machine to create a score that captures the roar of the car and the crowd. This marks the thirteenth collaboration for Zimmer and Bruckheimer, in a longstanding partnership that began with Bruckheimer’s first racing film, Days of Thunder. Additionally, Prolific guitarist Tim Henson of Polyphia had the honor of bringing his signature virtuosity to the score, blending his progressive guitar work with the existing cinematic intensity. Additionally, the F1® THE ALBUM (CINEMATIC EDITION) – featuring both the original soundtrack and score – is available now HERE.

Also out today, the official music video for “D.A.N.C.E” by renowned South Korean DJ, producer, artist, and songwriter Peggy Gou is now streaming via YouTube.

Dubbed “the greatest that never was,” Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was FORMULA 1’s most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career.  Thirty years later, he’s a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team that is on the verge of collapse.  Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world.  He’ll drive alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team's hotshot rookie, intent on setting his own pace.  But as the engines roar, Sonny’s past catches up with him and he finds that in FORMULA 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition—and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

F1® THE MOVIE also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem, and was shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport. Kosinski directs from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, story by Kosinski & Kruger.  The film is executive produced by Daniel Lupi.  Collaborating with Kosinski behind the scenes are his creative team, including director of photography Claudio Miranda, production designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione, costume designer Julian Day, casting director Lucy Bevan, and composer Hans Zimmer.
