Meet Omeeze: Independent Artist Blending Faith, Philosophy and Hip-Hop for a New Generation

At a time when music is increasingly driven by algorithms, trends and fleeting moments of attention, independent artist Omeeze is taking a different path—building a creative body of work around questions humanity has wrestled with for thousands of years.

Having independently released music since 2019, Omeeze is now bringing his expanding creative vision to a broader national audience through music, podcasting and an upcoming religious book. Based in Southern California and working through GMFBA Entertainment, the independent hip-hop artist, songwriter, podcaster and author combines contemporary music with explorations of faith, spirituality, philosophy, theology, identity, culture and the search for deeper truth.

Music With Something to Say

For Omeeze, music and philosophy aren’t separate pursuits. His catalog provides another medium for examining the ideas and experiences that have shaped his worldview.

Projects including Esperanto and songs such as Shalom x Salam reflect an approach that reaches across religious and cultural boundaries while remaining grounded in hip-hop. His work explores themes including faith and doubt, darkness and light, conflict and reconciliation, adversity and perseverance.

“I want to create work that makes people question, investigate and search for deeper truth,” Omeeze said. “Whether it’s through music, conversation or writing, it all comes from the same mission.”

An Independent Journey Since 2019

Omeeze’s story did not begin overnight.

He began independently releasing and distributing music in 2019, spending the years since developing his catalog and artistic identity outside the traditional major-label system.

That independence has given Omeeze the freedom to experiment with sounds, concepts and subject matter without restricting his work to a single category. As technology continues to reshape music creation, he has also embraced modern production tools while retaining control over the concepts, direction and final creative decisions behind his work.

Through GMFBA Entertainment, Omeeze is continuing to expand that independent foundation and develop a creative identity designed to extend beyond individual songs or releases.

Beyond the Music

Omeeze’s ambitions extend into podcasting, media and literature.

Through podcasting and long-form conversations, he explores religion, comparative theology, ancient history, philosophy, spirituality and esoteric traditions—subjects that allow him to take the questions raised by his music into deeper territory.

Omeeze is also preparing to release an upcoming religious book examining religion, theology and belief through his distinctive perspective.

Music, conversation and writing ultimately serve different parts of the same creative mission: encouraging audiences to question assumptions, investigate ideas and think more deeply about the forces shaping their understanding of themselves and the world around them.

“I don’t believe an artist has to stay inside one box,” Omeeze said. “If I have something meaningful to explore, I might express it through a record, a conversation or a book. They’re different formats, but they’re all coming from the same search for truth.”

For Omeeze, this national introduction isn’t the culmination of the journey.

It’s the beginning of the next chapter.
