Today, Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Avery Lynch returns with her quietly powerful new single, "Sweetheart." The track is the final release ahead of her forthcoming EP, set to arrive this September.

“‘Sweetheart’ reflects on the early days of my relationship and how quickly I realized that what I’d accepted in the past wasn’t love,” Avery shares. “I remember being surprised, and embarrassingly impressed, by him asking me follow-up questions, walking me home, and genuinely wanting me around. It was eye-opening to be with someone who cared about me and wasn’t afraid to show it.”

She continues, “I wrote this one with my boyfriend Jordan and our close friend Neisha Grace. Producing the track with Jordan afterwards felt like a really full-circle moment.”

Originally from Pennsylvania, Avery’s musical journey began at the age of 7, composing piano pieces before evolving into songwriting. Now based in Los Angeles, her signature sound—lush, melancholic piano arrangements paired with her soft, expressive vocals—has become the foundation of her artistry.
