Two Cents Lyrics
They say
Everybody’s got their two cents
But honey, I ain't listening
To what you’re putting out
You say I'm the talk of the town
But you're the only one talkin’ now
Tryna put me down
I feel a wildfire spreading
I know that you’ve got the gasoline
Don’t know what you are expecting
But your two cents don't mean a thing to me
Chorus
Cuz my head’s held high
You can go and try
To kick up my dust
Drag my name thru the mud
Whatever to pass your time
I ain't losing sleep
Have you even met me?
You can keep on being mean
I’m gonna keep on keeping these boots clean
"Have you ever had someone try to tell you how to live your life—even though they don’t know anything about you?" That’s exactly what inspired Two Cents," shares Josie. "It’s all about blocking out the noise and staying true to who you are."
Josie Sal is also excited to be headlining her first-ever show on Thursday, February 27th, at The Vinyl Lounge with Max Schott and other special guests. About
At just ten years old, Josie Sal took a dare from her father to sing in front of a crowd in Florida, sparking a passion for music that quickly transformed into a promising career. After her impromptu performance of “Dance Monkey” captivated the audience, Josie began taking vocal and guitar lessons and performing at venues across Pittsburgh and Florida. By age eleven, she had already shared the stage with stars like Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll and opened for country icons such as Riley Green and Aaron Tippin.
Josie has written and recorded multiple original songs, including her debut single, “On My Way,” and continues to make waves in the music industry. With performances at major events like Tootsie’s 64th Annual Birthday Bash and a nomination for Junior Artist of the Year at the 10th Annual Josie Music Awards, her star is rapidly rising. Known for her versatile repertoire that spans country to classic rock, Josie's energy and emotional connection with audiences make every performance unforgettable.

It takes a myriad of professionals to turn this wheel we call the music business: radio air personalities, tour managers, record label insiders, specialists in television programming, directors of live events and publicists who provide artists with the exposure needed to keep the wheel in motion. Knowledge is power, and executive/entrepreneur Jeremy Westby is the power behind 2911 Enterprises. Westby is the rare individual whose twenty-five years of experience in the music industry champions each of those arenas—on a multi genre level in all realms. After all, how many people can say they’ve worked side by side with Megadeth, Meat Loaf, Michael W. Smith and Dolly Parton? Westby can.
