‘Letter to the Industry’: Justine On Green Set to Release Bold Debut Single on October 17

“This is ahead of its time, and it’s meant to be that way. This is where it all starts—the ground floor. It only goes up from here,” explains electropop artist and producer Justine On Green, introducing her debut single “Letter to the Industry”— out October 17 on all DSPs.

The track confronts exploitation in the arts head-on, serving as one of Justine’s most personal works to date. “This is about not letting the system—the insane world we live in—take that from you,” she shares. “There are ecosystems of beauty, expression, and art within so many people who get overlooked. They lose themselves. I see it all the time—I hear it in voices an things they don’t say. I wrote this for people like myself, who had to tap into that truth or lose everything.”
Blind, lesbian, and transgender, Justine On Green has carved out a distinct space in music, blending shimmering synths with raw, emotional storytelling. Her work resonates as bold, aching, and unforgettable. With over 1 million streams and 5 million social views on prior releases, Letter to the Industry marks the launch of her most authentic chapter yet.
She knows this release is a statement. “It’s risky—not what you’d expect in a pop single or from my past music. But it came from finally being grounded in myself and my place in the world for the first time.”
While this is Justine’s first solo release she is no stranger to the music industry with several years of experience as a ghost writer, and producer, she felt it was finally time to stand up and say some things…” “Letter to the Industry” is the first of twelve singles planned for release over the next year, accompanied by live performances, DJ sets, and a wealth of new content.
