East London’s own multi-hyphenate artist and rapper Kojey Radical unveils his brand-new single “Expensive” featuring Planet Giza. Produced by Swindle, “Expensive” is built on a futuristic, stripped-back beat that blends infectious rhythm with a hook that lingers long after the first listen. The song balances groove with gravity, delivering lines like “Stop holding on to the past” and “No price on life and time”, lyrics that carry real weight while keeping the track undeniably danceable. Keeping true to the idea of taking the conversation offline, the full tracklist for “Don’t Look Down” will be revealed this Friday in Shoreditch, unveiled on a striking mural painted by Marc at MurWalls. Mural location available on request!

16-tracks long, “Don’t Look Down”, set for release on September 19th 2025, is a musically rich and deeply introspective reflection on the shifting tides, lows and joys that have passed through his life since his emergence into the public eye. Set among an arresting musical backdrop, brimming with soul and vivid instrumentation, is a story of loss and renewal, hedonism and celebrity, fatherhood and friendship. Sonically, the album provides the most experimental and eclectic music of his career, with influences ranging from golden age Hip Hop to disco, grime to Indie, Jazz to Ska. Together, these strings combine to give a pertinent insight into Kojey’s inner world, and a timestamp documenting the feelings, emotions and experiences that arise when many reach the milestone of their 30s.

With “Don’t Look Down”, Kojey Radical sets his sights on reconnecting with the community that has supported him since “Reason to Smile”. Beyond the music, he’s been curating in-person parties across the UK, intimate gatherings designed to take the experience offline and nurture genuine connections. As part of the rollout, Kojey also hosted two special screenings for the short film accompanying the album. The film weaves together three music videos into a single cinematic piece. Directed by Relta, the project stems from Kojey’s desire to reintroduce care and artistry into the music video format, drawing inspiration from the powerful visuals he grew up watching.
