Laura Pieri Shares New Single "Flown Away" & Announces 'Frankie On The Dancefloor' Project

Pop singer-songwriter Laura Pieri makes a bold return with her new single, "Flown Away. The track leads the way for Frankie On The Dancefloor, an expanded edition of her 2024 EP Frankie, set for release on May 30th. Alongside "Flown Away," the project will feature four brand-new remixes that amplify her ever-evolving pop sound.

Originally written for the Frankie EP, "Flown Away" was a song that never quite found its place—until now. "For a while, she was a misfit," Pieri reflects. "Sonically, she didn’t quite fit with the rest of the project. But stepping away gave me the space to reimagine her. Frankie’s story wasn't over yet, and ‘Flown Away’ felt like the perfect way to keep her spirit alive while pushing the sound forward."

"Flown Away" also marks a turning point for Pieri as she leans into dance-driven influences. "I love a more traditional pop sound, but lately, I just want to move and dance," she shares. "Leaving this song tucked away never felt right, and now feels like the moment to let her fly."

Released in May 2024, Frankie, along with its accompanying short film, told the story of a woman reclaiming her voice and power. The EP was born at a crossroads for Pieri, as she contemplated walking away from music altogether. What emerged instead was a project of resilience, self-discovery, and artistic revival, co-written with an all-female team and executive produced by Skyler Cocco, Frankie didn’t just mark a creative rebirth—it solidified Pieri’s place as an artist ready to make her voice louder than ever.
