Dallas Alt-Pop Trio Little Image Release "Novocaine", Out May 9th

Dallas alt-pop trio little image returns with their latest track, “NOVOCAINE” – an exploration of numbing pain, avoidance, inner conflict, and the struggle with seeking temporary comfort. Written by Jackson Simmons, Troy Bruner, Brandon Walters, and Andrew Goldstein, the song reflects the internal conflict and struggle between seeking external relief and facing one’s inner turmoil. The lyrics, “Doctor can you take this pain away? Or give me a shot of your novocaine” – is delivered with a sense of desperation, vulnerability and with the desire to escape emotional pain.
“’NOVOCAINE’ is a song that sheds light on the desire to numb your situation versus looking inward. The doctor is someone we look towards to ease our pain, so we don’t have to fight ourselves for rest. Musically, the tension of this song represents a big piece of our forthcoming music.” - little image

About
Over more than a decade, Dallas trio little image has transformed from suburban kids obsessed with underground indie rock into the cohesive band they are today. Comprised of Jackson Simmons (vocals/guitar), Brandon Walters (bass/synth), and Troy Bruner (drums), the trio truly came into their own during the 2020 lockdown.
This period allowed them to experiment with creating pop-rock music beyond the traditional guitar/bass/drums setup. Their creative surge led to a partnership with Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, 5SOS), who provided a nurturing studio environment. This collaboration culminated in the release of their debut album, SELF TITLED, in May 2023, followed by a U.S. headline tour. The album, which tells a story of self-doubt, self-reflection, and self-love, scored the band their first #1 alternative radio hit, "OUT OF MY MIND.”
In 2025, little image released "RUN FOR FOREVER” and “THE PRESSURE, the first tracks of new music since their debut. After a challenging year in 2024, the band channeled their experiences into writing and recording their next album.
little image has toured with Panic! At The Disco and Colony House, and performed at festivals like Shakey Knees, Float Fest, and Wonderbus Music & Arts Festival. They are currently stateside supporting Joywave on their Here To Perform… Spring 2025 tour after wrapping a 20-city European tour with almost monday. This summer, little image will hit the road on May 28th in Fresno, CA, supporting Bad Suns.
With more new music on the way, little image is poised to make 2025 another landmark year.
