Seanna Pereira Releases Debut EP Love Department with Live Performance Video Directed by Matty Vogel

LA-based rising pop artist Seanna Pereira releases her debut EP, Love Department. Across six tracks, Seanna channels the unpredictability of young adulthood into a collection of sharp, emotionally honest songs driven by irresistible melodies, dynamic vocals, and a sound that feels endlessly replayable. The EP builds on the foundation Seanna introduced through recent singles “Options,” “Arsonist,” and “Chemistry.” If you gravitate toward the polished pop of Sabrina Carpenter and the edge of Tate McRae, Seanna’s music occupies a similar space, pairing confessional lyricism with high-energy arrangements and atmospheric production. The companion focus track chronicles two artists escaping a tumultuous yet glamorous heist.

Speaking about the title track, Seanna shares:

"Love Department is a song that showcases my personal journey with perfectionism and love. I’m someone who strives to be a perfectionist and the best at everything I do. Still, with something as unpredictable as love, especially falling in love, which is completely uncontrollable, it’s a song that shows it’s okay to not be perfect at everything, especially in the love department. It also touches on how other people’s opinions can weigh on you, and how we tend to overanalyze and doubt everything in relationships to protect ourselves from getting hurt. The song feels so authentically me and puts my deepest thoughts out in the open. I hope that I’m able to help listeners feel less alone and turn something that I know a lot of people can relate to, but might not always be able to put into words into a meaningful piece of music."

The release caps off a remarkable breakthrough year for the 21-year-old artist. Following the success of her first three singles, Seanna’s monthly Spotify listeners have climbed to more than 245,000, representing a 3,600% increase since January 30. She has also earned recognition from BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop and has been featured twice on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.
