Introducing Joel Andrew B, a fresh voice in the Australian folk scene, set to release his second single, 'Something Between You and I', a heartfelt track to be shared with the world on Friday, July, 25.
Joel Andrew B's experiences range from solo performances at Nannup Music Festival and Nanga Music Festival, to the tour of his band Sixth Avenue across WA including supporting the likes of Ocean Alley and British India. With coverage by Triple J, Triple J Unearthed, Tone Deaf and Pile Rats, his time with Sixth Avenue has been an ace up his sleeve. His authentic, emotive sound is both an intimate and expansive blanket that shrouds the listener in powerful melodies and textured instrumentation.
'Something Between You and I' is his second solo single release and the follow-up to 'For Now, but Not Always'. This new release is just as warm and distinct as his last single, but bursting with passion and intimacy.
With soft layers of gorgeous, intricate guitar and an open indie drawl in his voice, 'Something Between You and I' is a slow and tender dance between two, as passion builds with multifaceted instrumentation swelling throughout.
